The Hong Kong Innovation Day

In Hong Kong, the Government has been calling for high value-added and competitive industries in the policy address. Here, innovation is the critical success factor. To nourish a culture of innovations in healthcare, the School of Nursing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University has taken the initiative to organize Hong Kong’s first Innovation Academy, The Hong Kong Innovation Academy (HKIA) . It is a part of a global setup of leading universities, led by the University of Geneva, and the Global Healthcare Innovation Day will be co-organized by all partners including the HKIA.

With the success and fruitful experience from the Geneva event, the HKIA is expected to stimulate innovative ideas and concepts that bring immediate benefits to the patients, clinicians as well as the healthcare industry. We cordially invite healthcare institutions (public or private), universities and colleges, as well as entities and small private enterprises focusing on health innovations in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta of China to submit their contributions regarding the solutions, discoveries and innovations in medical and healthcare science to participate in The 3rd Hong Kong Innovation Day.
