School Visit

School Visit 1 - Hong Kong International School (Tai Tam campus)

Hong Kong International School is a private, coeducational day school (from Reception 1 for 4 year olds through Grade 12) serving students in the international community who seek an American college preparatory education in a Christian context. The school has four divisions on two campuses – lower primary (R1 to grade 2) and upper primary (grades 3-5) in Repulse Bay, and middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12) in Tai Tam. Total enrollment is approximately 2,700 students. Each division has a separate administrative team and is supported by a school nurse. The tour will be of the Tai Tam campus only.

**Remarks: Hong Kong International School (Tai Tam campus) is not easily accessible to handicapped individuals, as parts of the school are inaccessible without using stairs.

 

School Visit 2 - CNEC Lui Ming Choi Primary School

CNEC Lui Ming Choi Primary School, located in Tsing Yi, has been serving the Tsing Yi community for more than 22 years.

The school is a full-time subsidized Christian primary school, with most of the students living in Tsing Yi. With its excellent campus environment, the school places a strong emphasis on environmental education. Leveraging on its green campus, the school works continuously to instill the message of environmental protection in its students.

In recent years, the school has cooperated with the School of Nursing, PolyU to build a healthy campus. In particular, the school constantly reminds students of the importance of adopting good eating habits and doing exercise. For students with unsatisfactory BMI, the school provides weight management courses. Through a variety of exercise activities and seminars, the school joins hands with the parents to ensure the healthy growth of its students.

 

School Visit 3 - Chan’s Creative School

CCS is devoted to creating a healthy environment for our students by providing a combination of daily calisthenics; fresh, nutritious lunches; a comprehensive physical education scheme; and enlisting the active participation of parents in their children’s day-to-day diet and exercise programmes. While at school, the physical well-being of students is also supported by a volunteer nurse-parent and a full-time caretaker.

The CCS vision is guided by Christian values and high educational aspirations, with strong emphasis on a unique blending of “Five Hearts” moral education, art and drama education, to nurture students in the development of a healthy intellect and healthy personalities.

 

School Visit 4 - Heung Hoi Ching Kok Lin Assosication Buddhist Po Kwong School

HHCKLA Buddhist Po Kwong School is a Government aided School founded in 1988 for children with mild to moderate Intelligence Deficiency. Classes are from Primary One to Secondary Six.

School Mission and Vision is: Everyone is equal, educate without categories. Quality education is provided for children with special education needs.
