Feedback from delegates
“good organized conference. Well done. It was a conference with a heart, a heart full of play, and child-friendliness. Thank you very much.”
“This has been one of the best organized conference that I’ve attended (I’ve been to 5 IPA conferences). The staff was most friendly and helpful, the facilities were excellent, easy to find everything. The children’s forum was absolutely the best — we need to have them at every conference!”
“This was the best IPA conference held so far, especially in terms of the excellent organization, the helpfulness of the staff and volunteers. I learnt a lot of new information, particularly on brain development and play which will be very useful. Well done.”
“Have learnt a lot from the experts sharing and will share some of the take-aways from the conference with others in my school.”
“這是第一次參加IPA國際會議,我會珍惜且把所聽到得到的訊息、任何東西去執行、去分享我所工作的地方。讓玩的權利真正落實在孩子身上。”
“This is Mei-Yi Shen from Taiwan. I have been to several conference, this is one of the best. Thank you for all your hardworking and preparing. You have been such a wonderful friendly host. You bring in a lot of voice from countries around the world and provide us a comfortable place to listen to each other. It is such a wonderful and diverse experience. I will like to cooperate with IPA in Hong Kong and hopefully I will be able to invite more Taiwanese people to start an IPA Taiwan, so we can promote the right of children to play in east Asian countries. thank you all again.”
“I think there were several key messages from the conference and I am uncertain how these will be translated into a strategy for IPA. E.g.. the importance of understanding what Play is. The changing nature of play and the changing role of parents, playworkers and the importance of Prof. Low’s message. The role of IT and outside play, the computer and friend, the difference between play and learning and Play and health, and Play for play’s sake..etc”
“A brilliant conference, superbly organized. Having so many children involved — especially the children's forum at the end. Made this a playful and hugely enjoyable event. Hong Kong’s people and playworkers made us all so very welcome. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard – including all the volunteers – to make the conference so successful. The memories of play in a changing world will stay with us forever.” (IPA Europe Dr. Ute)
